How Taploka handles the data it holds about you. Last updated 14 September 2026.
What is collected

Playing without an account is possible. A guest still gets a record of the kind above, keyed to the device cookie rather than to an identity, and it merges into the account if the guest signs up later.
Card numbers and bank credentials are never seen by Taploka. A payment is opened at the payment provider and only the reference, the amount and the status come back.
Who else sees it
- Google, when you sign in with a Google account, and for the app distributed through Google Play.
- The payment provider, for a purchase made on the web. It receives the amount and the order reference.
- Advertising providers, when you choose to watch a rewarded ad. They may process device identifiers subject to the privacy choices in force on your device.
- Game developers see aggregate figures for their own games, plus the display name attached to a score on their leaderboard. They do not receive your email address.
Data is not sold. It is disclosed to anyone else only when the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Account data is kept while the account exists. Purchase and coin ledger records are kept after deletion for as long as tax and dispute rules require, with the account detached from them. Request logs are kept for a short period and then rotate away.
Your choices
- Change your display name, avatar and language from your profile at any time.
- Request deletion of the account, its progress and its related data, from the app or from this site. No install needed.
- Ask what is held about you, or ask for a correction, through the support contact listed on this site.
Cookies
Taploka sets a session cookie so you stay signed in, a security token cookie that protects forms, and a long-lived device cookie that keeps a guest's progress attached to the browser. There are no advertising cookies on the site itself.
Changes
A change to this page is published here with a new date above. Continuing to use the service after that is how the new version takes effect.
